Job Description
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a records management system for the Engineering Department
- Assist in the general administrative duties of the Engineering Department including project development, monitoring, and budget preparation
- Draft plan review and project plan coordination
- Investigate and prepare responses to citizen requests and inquiries
- Perform field review and investigations for studies and projects
- Administer City right-of-way permits
- Create maps, databases, and mailing lists
- Perform City traffic counts
- Perform other engineering and administrative related work as assigned
- General office duties
- Must have a High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum of one (1) year vocational or college course work in civil engineering, or a closely related field
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
- Experience using personal computers (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid Drivers License
