Position Information
The Director of Compliance is responsible for providing support to the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance Services for the UCR Department of Athletics Compliance Program. Responsibilities include supporting the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance services in the areas of rules education, initial and continuing eligibility, financial aid, personnel, recruiting, practice and playing seasons, and the self-reporting process. This individual must be able to communicate and function as part of the collaborative team within the Compliance Office and across departments.The full salary range for the Director of Compliance is $56,000.00 - $96,400.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $56,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.

| Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance operational issues and activities, specifically at the Division I level. |

| Knowledge of University-specific computer application programs and knowledge of University and departmental principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluating risks as to likelihood and consequences. |
| Advanced computer skills including demonstrated proficiency using the NCAA Compliance Assistant software, NCAA Eligibility Center, RSRO, and LSDBi. |
| Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the area of athletics compliance at the Division I level. |
| Proficiency with ARMS or similar compliance software. |
