Come Join Us At SPIN as a Supervisor in Deployment Services !

The Supervisor in Deployment Services manages and coordinates all administrative and operational procedures of Deployment Services to assure efficient and quality standards are achieved in Residential, and Community Participation programs. The Supervisor supports a 24/7 365 residential staffing schedule to provide right fit, trained staff to fill open shifts. To coach, encourage, engage and support a life of possibilities to the adults we serve; while achieving high productivity through strategic deployment.


Accountabilities of a Supervisor in Deployment Services:

  • Deploys qualified staff to the Residential sites and Community Participation to maintain continuity of care and support and to ensure the safety and well-being of the SPIN consumers.
  • Coach union staff on policy and procedure at point of service.
  • Organizes special and specific trainings so as to increase the availability of support staff for more challenging and involved homes while achieving high productivity through strategic deployment
  • Accurately manages an automated scheduling database (ADP Workforce Manager) entering and managing schedules (Excel- Microsoft TEAMS), tracking and managing overtime, monitoring leave time balances, and utilizing appropriate pay codes for interdepartmental communication
  • Processes all staff leave requests via a SPIN App and email databases in accordance with SPIN leave time policies and procedures and the Union Agreement
  • Seeks to use resources and create solutions to decrease the amount of the Organization’s overtime and reduce vacancies in the Residential homes
  • Generates, monitors and updates departmental reports
  • Constantly communicates with co-workers, Residential, CPS, Assisting Directors and Directors, and Organizational Staff
  • Assists the Director in achievement of departmental and organizational goals and outcomes.

The tools you need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred(Business or a related field)
  • 2+ years of supervisor/management experience
  • Valid Driver’s license, own vehicle and insurance.
  • Proficient with MS Office Excel and Word, and Office 365

  • Skilled at providing optimum customer service and maintaining a professional attitude when faced with challenging situations.
  • Works well independently as well as part of a team, communicating in an open and professional manner at all times.
  • Critically manages time and understands the urgency of work in the Deployment Services department and is skilled at prioritizing in emergent situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills within and between departments.
  • Flexible and easily adapts to change.
  • Must be highly organized, be able to multi-task, and have a strong retention mindset
  • High level communication skills a must. You will interact with employees primarily via phone, as well as in person, email, text and Zoom meetings.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with On-call responsibilities weekly, during holidays and evenings as needed
