Certified Respiratory Tech Resource Pool

Under the guidance of the Director of Cardio Respiratory Care, the CRTT will perform a variety of technical procedures related to general patient care, oxygen therapy, critical care, and cardio-pulmonary diagnostics. All activities of the CRTT will be directly supervised by the shift supervisor with input from the critical care coordinator and protocol coordinator.

Qualifications:

• CRTT: Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Care Program.
• If Certified Eligible, must have valid 18 month temporary license.
• To work in critical care areas: Must be CRTT with at least one year of clinical experience preferred. ICU/Critical Care skills must be demonstrated/documented.
• Pediatric/Neonatal Care skills must be demonstrated/documented.
• Must successfully complete ACLS training course in order to work in Critical Care areas. (12 months to accomplish)
