HIM Imaging Tech

The HIM Imaging Technician is responsible for assuring that all patient records and loose documents are scanned into the Electronic Patient Folder with the highest level of quality possible. HIM Tech is also responsible for prepping, scanning and indexing all documents to the appropriate patient folder and for ensuring each document is assigned the appropriate document name. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of previous experience in hospital medical records department or similar medical office setting with additional experience in quality analysis/chart completion or similar position preferred. Previous experience with imaging equipment preferred. Advanced knowledge of clerical tasks with focus on quality. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Advance computer literacy. Weekend and holiday rotating shifts are required.
