DEFINITION OF POSITION
- The Pricing & Contracts Analyst will utilize various software systems to analyze purchase history, costs, contracts, etc. to support the Senior Director, Supply Chain Management in vendor negotiations for products, services, and equipment. He or she will use the same systems to identify savings opportunities, and ensure contract compliance. The Pricing and Contracts Analyst will be responsible for updating the MMIS price file, contract loads and changes, product and equipment conversion analyses, implementing system/software updates, and working closely with buyers and vendor partners in price management activities. The above responsibilities are only the major responsibilities of the position. The position will be expected to learn and assist with all aspects of the hospital’s supply chain operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional
- A minimum 4 years experience in supply chain, to include experience with contracting and analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related area may be used as a substitute for required experience. Associates Degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related area may be used to substitute 2 years of required experience.
- Office skills to include operation of fax machines, copy machines, printers, and office phones.
- Prefer valid NC driver’s license with good driving record.
- Computer skills including Word and Excel required, familiarity with MMIS preferred.
- Familiarity and comfort with internet based applications required.
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret data necessary to accomplish work.
- Health care knowledge a plus.
