Pharmacy Analytics and Auditing 340B Program Manager in San Antonio, Texas at University Health System- San Antonio

POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as a covered entity compliance expert on 340B Program details, policies, and procedures. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to 340B Program audits and reporting, policy and procedure development, 340B education, and 340B Program enhancement. Acts as the liaison with necessary affiliated departments to ensure 340B Program integrity. Provides expertise with the 340B Program to staff and participants regarding ongoing compliance. Develops reports and disseminates information on program use. Develops and maintains internal relationships and external relationships (wholesalers, manufacturers, contract pharmacies, split-billing software vendors, pharmacy benefits managers [PBMs], and third-party administrator [TPA] vendors) as needed. Assesses purchasing accumulations to maximize replacement drug costs at 340B pricing and performs other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Directors of Pharmacy or the Chief Pharmacy Officer

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BS/BA degree in business or a related field is preferred. Related pharmacy and/or healthcare billing experience is required. Knowledge of, or experience working in a 340B program preferred. Three years of applicable experience is preferred. Exceptional customer service and strong communication, interpersonal skills and computer skills is required

CERTIFICATION

Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate Program completion (340B Apexus Certified Expert) or in-process of completion is required

LICENSURE

Current pharmacy technician licensure from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required
