Registration Representative- Imaging at Cookeville Regional Medical Center – Cookeville, Tennessee

The Imaging Registration Representative is responsible for serving as first impression of the hospital while initiating the registration processes in a professional and consistent manner by assuring prompt and proper treatment for all patients. This position will gather patient demographic and insurance information along with discussing the patient’s financial responsibilities when appropriate. Will perform certain functions on the front end of the registration process, such as insurance verification and medical necessity, which decrease the wait time for patients and hospital departments. Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum of one year of clerical office experience required. Medical terminology in a medical setting is preferred.
