Nursing Aide at Conway Medical Center – Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Position Summary: The Nursing Aide, provides general home care services under the guidelines of the Interdisciplinary Team Care Plan to patients enrolled in the CMC Hospice House Program. The Nursing Aide will perform incidental household services as considered essential to the patient’s well-being. Assist patient with eating and preparing meals including special diets. The Nursing Aide will assist with shopping if the patient has no other resource available, and provide emotional support and compassionate care to the patient and family unit. The Nursing Aide will report any changes in the patient’s condition or family situation immediately by call the office.

Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma required.

Experience:

• Previous experience working as in hospice and/or related healthcare setting preferred.
