LPN/Anesthesia Technician at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Anesthesia Technician assists the Anesthesia team in the preparation setup of surgical cases as well as cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

Required:

● High school diploma or equivalent.

● Currently licensed in the State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

● Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.

Preferred:

● Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred

EXPERIENCE

Required:

● Minimum of one (1) year previous LPN experience in a direct patient care setting.

Preferred:

● Previous critical care/anesthesia experience preferred
