SEASONAL PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER at Longwood Gardens – Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Longwood Gardens is seeking seasonal Public Safety Officers to play a crucial role in keeping our guests and staff safe and informed throughout our Gardens. Responsibilities include:

• Patrolling the grounds
• Greeting and assisting guests
• Responding to emergencies including medical
• Completing incident reports

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Exceptional customer service, communication, and hospitality skills
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, with long periods of walking and standing
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to be calm during emergencies
• Basic computer skills

The work schedule varies and requires working a minimum of three shifts per week including weekends, nights, and some holidays during the seasonal employment period.
