Crouse’s Managing Chaplain is responsible for managing the Rosemand Gifford Spirtual Care Center and Bob Maher Memorial Chapel at Crouse Health.

Pay Range: starting at $70,000 based on experience

Managing Chaplain Position Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the delivery of a complete program of pastoral care to patients/clients, their loved ones, and staff of all faith traditions.
  • Supervise and facilitate the work of those delivering spiritual care at Crouse.
  • Coordinate community clergy and volunteers from the religious community.
  • Direct contact with patients with communicable diseases using accepted precautions mandated by the hospital.

Managing Chaplain Position Requirements:

  • Must be board certified by and in good standing with the Association of Professional Chaplains, the National Association of Catholic Chaplains, or the Neshama Association of Jewish Chaplains.
    • Board-certified eligible candidates are acceptable as long as they achieve board certification within one (1) year of employment.
