Patient Access Specialist at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

The Patient Access Specialist registers patients consistent with GVMH processes; accurately schedules patients for all therapy services; communicates written and verbally both in person and via phone/email/software with patients, providers and other staff; obtains, verifies and communicates health insurance coverage, benefits and authorizations. May also be responsible for collecting co-pays/deductibles/co-insurance from patients. This position serves as a key support role in the Therapy Services department, helping to facilitate a seamless delivery of care and excellent patient care experience. This individual is ultimately responsible for all nonclinical aspects of Therapy Services' patient experience and delivery of care. May be required to work in Clinton and Warsaw therapy locations.

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
One to three years' experience

*Starting Range: $15.80-$17.38
