What you need to know about the Cafe Cashier Server position:

• The Food and Nutritional Services department focuses on providing delicious and appropriate nutritional care to our patients and excellent food and customer service to our customers, peers, staff and visitors.
• As a Café Cashier Server, you will be responsible for preparing food, stocking, serving, and charging cafeteria customers in a courteous, professional manner, participating on the Dining Pavilion team, cash handling, taking part in Quality Improvement initiatives as appropriate, completing mandatory in-services and continuing education. Customers of this position are cafeteria customers that range in age from toddler to the elderly. This position does not provide direct patient care.
• The Café Cashier Server position has a minimum base hourly rate of $16.00. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience and does include shift differentials and premium pay as applicable. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This part-time position will require you to work 24 hours per week, 11:00AM-7:30PM, with a weekend and holiday rotation.

What is required for this position:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
