Restaurant Host - Hotel in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at Dakota Dunes Resort

The Restaurant Host creates a warm and welcoming first impression for guests while managing reservations, waitlists, and seating. This role works closely with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient guest flow and an exceptional dining experience.

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and professionally.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements.
• Provide accurate wait times and escort guests to their tables.
• Present menus and introduce guests to their server.
• Answer phone calls and assist with reservations and guest inquiries.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate seating with servers and management.
• Assist guests with special requests and accessibility needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area.
• Support front-of-house duties, including table clearing and resetting.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed.
• Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return.
• Follow company, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
