This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced accounting professional supporting US-based enterprise clients across multiple industries.
You’ll manage core accounting and finance operations while working alongside senior team members in a collaborative, cloud-first environment.
The role offers exposure to multi-client portfolios, including private equity- and venture capital-backed businesses.

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for multiple US-based enterprise clients, including transaction entry, invoicing, bill payments, payroll preparation, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Work closely with senior accounting professionals to ensure client books and financial processes are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
- Use cloud-based accounting and practice management systems to organize workflows, track assignments, and manage deadlines across multiple client accounts.
- Analyze financial data and reports, translating large or complex datasets into meaningful financial information and actionable insights.
- Support accounting and reporting activities for private equity- and venture capital-backed portfolio companies, including multi-entity environments where applicable.
- Interact directly with clients when needed to answer accounting questions, obtain required information, and resolve specific operational issues.
- Identify when additional clarification is needed and proactively collaborate with team members before making decisions that could affect client books or reporting.
- Support client audits and related documentation when required.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, organization, and dependability across all accounting deliverables.
- Prioritize competing deadlines across multiple clients and communicate proactively when additional information or follow-up is required.
- Bachelor’s degree or college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in accounting and payroll within a multi-client environment supporting US-based clients; CPA or CAS firm experience is a strong advantage.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing payroll, bill payments, reconciliations, invoicing, journal entries, and other transactional accounting activities for US-based businesses.
- 3+ years of experience with cloud accounting and financial technologies such as NetSuite, Sage, Intacct, QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Gusto, or comparable platforms.
- At least 2 years of accounting and financial reporting experience supporting private equity- and/or venture capital-funded portfolio companies.
- Advanced analytical capabilities and the ability to interpret large volumes of financial data and produce meaningful conclusions.
- Strong proficiency with advanced Excel and modern cloud accounting technologies.
- Experience managing multiple clients and competing deadlines while maintaining consistent accuracy and quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with clients and distributed team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to financial accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
- A positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented mindset, combined with humility and openness to feedback and coaching.
- Persistence and confidence in following up with stakeholders to keep tasks and deliverables on track.
- Ability to work remotely and maintain availability five days per week during standard professional hours.
