The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing products within a warehouse and distribution center environment. This position requires experience operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach lifts, as well as the ability to work safely around large and double-stacked pallets. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, comfortable operating material handling equipment, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach lifts to move and organize materials.
• Load and unload trucks using powered industrial equipment.
• Move, stage, and store large pallets throughout the warehouse.
• Safely handle and maneuver double-stacked pallets.
• Use RF scanners, handheld scanners, or other warehouse technology to accurately track inventory and product movement.
• Follow proper material handling procedures and warehouse safety guidelines.
• Inspect loads and equipment to ensure safe handling and transportation of products.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and warehouse personnel.
• Meet productivity and accuracy expectations while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Training & Certification

• New hires will train on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM for approximately 1–2 weeks.
• Onsite forklift certification is required before operating powered industrial trucks independently.
• Forklift certification may be completed on any day of the week based on operational and training needs.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work comfortably with large pallets and double-stacked pallets.
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move throughout the warehouse as required.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
