Job Description

Material Handler – Day Shift

TIGER Drylac Canada | Guelph, ON
Monday – Friday | 6:50 AM – 3:00 PM

Want to keep production moving?

As a Material Handler, you’re one of the people who makes sure our production team has what they need, when they need it. You’ll be moving materials, preparing supplies, keeping inventory accurate, and helping our batchers and production team stay on track.

If you like staying busy, working with your hands, driving a forklift, and knowing that your work directly helps the team succeed — this could be the role for you!

What You'll Be Doing
  1. Keep Production Moving
  2. Support Pre-Batching
  3. Help Prepare Materials
  4. Keep Inventory on Track
  5. Safety & Quality Come First

Be a Team Player

At TIGER, we're all about helping each other out. You may also:

  • Support other production areas when needed.
  • Get involved in projects that improve material flow, inventory accuracy and production efficiency.
  • Help troubleshoot material shortages, inventory issues and production delays.
  • Support audits, physical inventories, clean-up activities and special projects.
  • Take on other duties as needed by the Production Supervisor or management team.
What You'll Need

We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in getting things done right.

You'll bring:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Around 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with warehouse and/or batching processes.
  • A valid forklift certification an asset.
  • Basic English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail — especially when it comes to materials, quantities and inventory.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A safety-first mindset.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to figure out why something isn't adding up.
  • A strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
What You Can Expect

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing role. You'll spend much of your day on your feet and moving around the facility.

The role includes:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Bending and crouching.
  • Lifting materials up to 25 kg.
  • Working around dust and powder coating materials.
  • Exposure to manufacturing noise and cleaning supplies.
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Why TIGER?

Because you're not just moving materials — you're helping keep the entire production operation moving.

Every pallet you stage, every inventory discrepancy you catch, and every material you get to the right place at the right time helps our team deliver quality products to our customers.

If you're someone who likes to stay active, work with a great team, and see the impact of your work every day, we'd love to meet you!

Come grow with TIGER. 🐯
