The SunnyBrook Ballroom is one of the few remaining dance halls of the pre-World War II era still in existence. During the big band era of the 1930’s and 1940’s the ballroom rose to prominence as one of the country’s great dance floors. At SunnyBrook we strive to give our guests a most memorable experience and look for extraordinary people to provide that service.

Responsible for supporting the Banquet Manager to ensure beverage items are executed with excellence at the bar. Responsible for smooth flow of beverage food preparation that facilitates timely delivery, ensuring that the quality of drinks produced consistently meets the targeted highest standard.

This position is very hands-on in nature, one that requires the individual to interact with guests, be active in all preparations, and serving meals to guests, as necessary.

$16.00 an hour, plus tips

The successful candidate will have skills that can withstand the pressure of busy service with proven success as a bartender, including:

· At least three years of diversified bartending experience

· Passion for people interaction and a commitment to customer service

· Proven ability to work within a team

· Organized, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced multitasking work environment

· Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and some holidays

· Responsible for refilling beverages, removing dishes from tables and assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service

· Will spend long hours on their feet, standing, walking, and moving around the bar

· Requires the individual to be extremely courteous, cordial, and polite to the Guest/Customer always

· Setup the bridal and groom suites as needed
