POSITION SUMMARY

The director of sales is responsible for driving revenue growth across aerospace and related markets. This role leads the sales team, owns the pipeline, and ensures targets are met. Works closely with other functions to win new business, grow key accounts, and improve customer experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Set and execute sales strategy
  2. Build and manage pipeline
  3. Supervise business development and account managers
  4. Lead team to hit KPIs
  5. Drive new business
  6. Manage major deals end to end
  7. Grow key customer accounts
  8. Work across teams to deliver results
  9. Collaborate to identify and grow new markets

Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills:

  1. Experience leading sales teams in B2B / manufacturing or similar
  2. Track record of hitting growth targets
  3. Experience with complex or long sales cycles
  4. Strong leadership and customer skills
  5. Experience with CRM and pipeline tracking
  6. Bachelor’s degree
  7. 15+ years related experience
  8. Strong communication and change‑leadership skills.
  9. Ability to travel as required (50+%)
  10. Must meet U.S. person requirements (ITAR/EAR)
  11. Must be able to work on government contracts

Additional PREFERRED Qualifications/Skills:

  1. Aerospace experience
  2. Technical or manufacturing sales background
  3. Experience with large or strategic accounts
