NETTTS is seeking a motivated and student-focused Career Services Advisor to support students throughout their training journey and assist graduates with launching successful careers in the skilled trades industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working with people, and making a direct impact on student success.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Starting pay at $20/hour, negotiable based on experience
  • Flexible schedule required, including evenings and 1–2 Saturdays per month

What You’ll Do
  • Assist students with resume writing, interview preparation, and career planning
  • Help students search and apply for employment opportunities
  • Build relationships with employers and identify job placement opportunities
  • Conduct student mentoring, career coaching, and classroom presentations
  • Support graduates with employment verification and placement follow-up
  • Maintain accurate student records and employment documentation
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and campus leadership to support student success
  • Track student outcomes and ensure compliance with school and accrediting standards

  • Ability to motivate and mentor students from diverse backgrounds
  • Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for helping students achieve career success
QualificationsRequired:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in job placement, recruiting, advising, sales, instruction, or administrative support
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
Preferred:
  • Experience in career services or workforce development
  • Connections within CDL, HVAC, or skilled trades industries
  • Experience presenting to groups or leading workshops
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus
