This role sits at the heart of a high-growth, global expansion strategy, supporting critical financial decisions that shape international market entry and long-term business performance. You will act as a key strategic finance partner to cross-functional leadership teams, driving forecasting, scenario modeling, and investment analysis for new and emerging markets. The position combines rigorous financial analysis with executive-level storytelling, translating complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership. You will own financial planning and performance tracking across international initiatives, ensuring clarity in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment. This is a high-visibility role where your work directly influences global expansion decisions and capital allocation. You will collaborate closely with teams across strategy, operations, business development, and corporate functions in a flexible, fast-paced environment designed for impact.
- Serve as the primary finance partner for international expansion initiatives, owning forecasting, budgeting, and performance management across global markets.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to support scenario planning, investment trade-offs, and strategic decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Business Development, Operations, Legal, and Corporate Development to evaluate new market opportunities.
- Analyze unit economics, market dynamics, and operational performance to identify risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Own monthly and quarterly actuals vs. forecast (AvF) processes, including variance analysis and executive-ready reporting.
- Translate financial insights into clear business narratives for senior leadership to support strategic decisions.
- Continuously refine forecasting methodologies and processes in response to evolving international market conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or other analytical finance roles in high-growth or public tech companies.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience presenting financial insights to executive-level stakeholders with strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and structured problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in marketplace, SaaS, or consumer tech environments (preferred).
- Familiarity with SQL or other analytical tools (preferred).
- Interest in leveraging automation and AI tools to improve financial workflows (preferred).
- Competitive base salary ranging from $147,000 to $185,500 USD depending on location.
