Job Description

Senior AEP Technical Consultant

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior AEP Technical Consultant in the United States.

This role is a highly technical, client-facing position focused on bringing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) architectures to life through hands-on implementation and configuration. You will work across complex digital ecosystems to translate conceptual designs into scalable, production-ready solutions that power personalization, activation, and analytics use cases. Operating at the intersection of data engineering, marketing technology, and customer experience, you will collaborate closely with enterprise architects, client stakeholders, and internal Adobe ecosystem teams. The environment is fast-paced and highly collaborative, requiring both deep platform expertise and strong problem-solving skills. You will play a critical role in building end-to-end data flows—from ingestion to activation—across RTCDP, AJO, and CJA. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys turning data strategy into operational reality.

Accountabilities:
  • Implement and configure Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) components including XDM schemas, datasets, identities, events, and Experience Data Models.
  • Build and manage ingestion pipelines using batch and streaming sources, connectors, transformations, and APIs.
  • Configure identity resolution frameworks including identity graphs, stitching logic, and profile unification rules.
  • Translate business and conceptual use cases into end-to-end technical implementations across RTCDP, AJO, and CJA.
  • Design and support segmentation and activation workflows, ensuring accurate audience creation and delivery to downstream systems.
  • Model and map CRM, behavioral, transactional, and event data into structured XDM frameworks.
  • Support B2B data structures including account hierarchies, lead mapping, opportunity modeling, and buying group structures.
  • Validate data quality, ingestion success, schema alignment, identity accuracy, and overall system performance.
  • Implement governance, consent management, and compliance rules across data workflows.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with broader solution architecture.
  • Troubleshoot ingestion, mapping, and profiling issues in collaboration with engineering and QA teams.
  • Produce documentation, technical runbooks, and client-facing deliverables to support implementation and ongoing operations.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), including RTCDP, AJO, and CJA.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end data workflows: ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, activation, and measurement.
  • Experience designing and implementing XDM schemas, identity graphs, and data modeling frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion pipelines, APIs, and transformation processes.
  • Experience with consent management, data governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with B2B data structures such as account hierarchies, opportunity tracking, and lead attribution.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Adobe Query Service/Data Distiller is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear explanations.
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to work in enterprise-scale, cross-functional environments.
  • Ability to operate independently in complex technical delivery environments with multiple stakeholders.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $150,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life insurance and disability coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Generous paid time off and holidays.
  • Access to professional development and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven environment focused on digital experience transformation.
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale Adobe Experience Cloud implementations across leading global brands.
