This role is responsible for leading enterprise data delivery operations that power critical business decision-making across multiple functions. You will oversee the design, execution, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and ETL frameworks that ensure reliable, high-quality access to enterprise data. The position combines technical leadership, team management, and strategic partnership with business stakeholders to define and operationalize key metrics. You will play a central role in transforming raw data into trusted, governed, and actionable insights that support finance, sales, operations, and compliance functions. Operating in a fully remote environment, you will lead a team of data professionals while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of modern data platforms. This is a high-impact role where data delivery quality directly influences business outcomes and strategic decisions across the organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ETL engineers and data delivery specialists, ensuring strong performance management, career growth, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, development, and optimization of scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data warehouse solutions to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Define, standardize, and govern business KPIs and data metrics in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring consistent and trusted reporting across the organization.
  • Implement and maintain data quality frameworks, monitoring systems, and validation processes to ensure high data accuracy, uptime, and operational integrity.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Compliance) to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions and reporting standards.
  • Drive automation, CI/CD integration, and infrastructure best practices to improve pipeline reliability, reduce manual effort, and enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Manage day-to-day data operations, including issue resolution, SLA adherence, and continuous improvement of data delivery processes and frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data analytics roles.
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing data engineering or data delivery teams.
  • Strong expertise in designing and scaling enterprise data pipelines, data warehouse systems, and performance-optimized architectures.
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Deep knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Prefect.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Linux-based environments.
  • Proven ability to define, validate, and govern business KPIs and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills with experience translating complex technical concepts into business insights.
  • Nice to have: experience with data observability tools, automation frameworks, and cloud-native monitoring solutions.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $147,500 to $185,000 depending on experience and location.
  • Performance-based bonuses and eligibility for incentive programs.
  • Fully remote work with flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, and mental health coverage.
  • Equity participation and long-term incentive opportunities.
  • Unlimited paid time off to support work-life balance and well-being.
  • Home office setup allowance and monthly communication stipend.
  • Career growth opportunities in a highly collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
