This is a fully remote, service-oriented insurance support role focused on delivering clear, accurate, and empathetic guidance to members regarding their personal lines insurance needs. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers navigate policy questions, coverage updates, billing inquiries, and underwriting support with professionalism and care. The role is strictly non-sales and emphasizes high-quality customer experience across multiple communication channels, including phone and digital platforms. You will work within a fast-paced contact center environment, balancing multiple systems while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and responsiveness. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential as you build trust and resolve inquiries efficiently. This position is ideal for licensed insurance professionals who enjoy helping others and thrive in structured, metrics-driven environments.
- Respond to inbound member inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels regarding insurance quotes, policy changes, billing, and coverage questions
- Provide accurate guidance on personal lines insurance products while ensuring clarity, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction
- Process policy transactions including endorsements, cancellations, and updates in compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Build trust with members by asking effective questions, understanding needs, and minimizing escalations or transfers
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely, accurate information delivery
- Maintain required certifications and continuously build knowledge of insurance products, policies, and procedures
- Meet or exceed performance metrics related to service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction
- Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance license required
- High school diploma or GED required; some college education preferred
- 6+ months of customer service experience in contact centers, retail, healthcare, hospitality, or similar environments
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of insurance compliance, regulations, and policy administration
- Strong technical literacy, including comfort with digital tools and troubleshooting basics
- Typing speed of at least 20 WPM with high accuracy
- Strong research skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Hourly pay rate of $22.50
