About the role

The Director of Tenant Fit-Out (TFO) is responsible for leading the delivery of customer data center deployments from initial design through construction, commissioning, and final handoff. This role would be the executive owner of all customer fit-outs after lease execution, responsible for delivering revenue-generating data hall deployments safely, on time, on budget, and at scale.

The Director oversees white space buildouts, cage installations, structured cabling, rack deployments, and mission-critical infrastructure projects while ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to customer requirements. They also will partner closely with internal teams, customers, contractors, and vendors, driving project execution, operational excellence, process standardization, and scalability across a growing portfolio. Success in the role requires strong data center project delivery experience, customer-facing leadership, financial and vendor management skills, and the ability to build repeatable processes that support rapid growth.

What you'll do

  • Lead all tenant fit-out (TFO) projects across Prime data center campuses.
  • Oversee white space deployments, cages, structured cabling, rack installations, and customer-specific infrastructure projects.
  • Manage project delivery from design through construction, commissioning, turnover, and customer handoff.
  • Partner with Sales, Product Delivery, Construction, Operations, Commissioning, and customers to ensure successful deployments.
  • Develop project governance, standards, budgets, schedules, and reporting.
  • Lead contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and data center design standards.
  • Drive capacity planning, risk management, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Establish scalable processes to support rapid portfolio growth.

Qualifications

  • Several years in data center construction, critical facilities, commissioning, or project delivery.
  • Strong hyperscaler customer management would be necessary for success in this role
  • Strong financial management, forecasting, and vendor management background.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Experience leading multi-site programs and customer-facing deployments.
  • Experience scaling operations in a fast-growing data center company
  • Ability to create repeatable processes and standards.
  • Customer-focused delivery mindset.
  • Balance between technical depth and operational leadership

  • Competitive salary range of $185-210k along with a performance bonus program
