This role offers the opportunity to drive channel-led growth across North America within a global SaaS environment. You will develop strategic partner relationships, recruit new partners, and turn partner engagement into measurable pipeline and revenue. The position combines business development, account management, sales enablement, and strategic planning across a diverse partner ecosystem. You will work closely with distributors, resellers, managed service providers, systems integrators, and technology partners to expand market reach. Success will depend on your ability to build executive relationships while also supporting frontline sales teams and advancing joint opportunities. This is a high-impact, autonomous role for a commercially minded channel professional who thrives in a growth-oriented environment.
- Develop and execute channel sales strategies aligned with regional revenue, pipeline, and market expansion objectives.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and grow strategic relationships with distributors, direct market resellers, value-added resellers, managed service providers, systems integrators, and technology partners.
- Identify and pursue new partner-led business opportunities across target markets and customer segments.
- Build strong executive-level relationships within partner organizations and establish joint business plans, priorities, and measurable success criteria.
- Partner with sales teams to identify target accounts, uncover customer opportunities, and advance joint sales activities.
- Train and enable partners to effectively position, demonstrate, and sell solutions while aligning offerings with customer business needs.
- Deliver high-level product demonstrations and compelling value propositions to partner and customer audiences.
- Maintain clear visibility into partner-generated pipeline, sales activity, next steps, and revenue performance.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and partner feedback to identify opportunities and adapt regional channel strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and other internal teams to provide a consistent and effective partner experience.
- Represent the organization at partner meetings, industry events, and regional conferences to strengthen market awareness and strategic relationships.
- Travel regularly across North America for partner meetings, planning sessions, enablement activities, and industry events.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, business development, or a related function within SaaS or enterprise software.
- Demonstrated success developing partner relationships and converting those relationships into measurable pipeline and revenue.
- Strong understanding of North American channel models, including distributors, direct market resellers, value-added resellers, managed service providers, and systems integrators.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with partner executives, sales leaders, and frontline sellers.
- Proactive, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to both expand existing partnerships and create new strategic relationships.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills, with the ability to communicate product value effectively to partner and customer audiences.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, planning, and analytical skills.
- Highly organized and accountable, with strong discipline around partner follow-up, activity management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and align internal stakeholders around shared partner and revenue objectives.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for face-to-face partner engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
