As a Rehabilitation Specialist, in our Senior Program you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture and quality of life for the members of Arundel Lodge. Position Overview:
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, in our Senior Program you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive culture and quality of life for the members of Arundel Lodge. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals in their recovery journeys from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use challenges.
Arundel Lodge is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where behavioral health disorders do not limit individuals from achieving meaningful lives within their communities.
We strive to be a vital part of a community network focused on preventing behavioral health issues and providing essential care and support for individuals to lead healthy, productive lives.
Our mission is to enhance the well-being of children, adults, and families affected by mental health and substance use disorders.
- Provide transportation for clients as needed.
- Assist with money management, appointment scheduling, and dietary coaching.
- Support daily living activities (ADLs) and teach essential life skills.
- Facilitate shopping and cleaning tasks to promote independence.
- Driving clients to any appointments and other daily needs
- Engage clients in their recovery process and offer compassionate support.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Arts degree in a human services field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation, or a combination of education and experience that meets these requirements.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Position Hours Available: Saturday & Sunday 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
$18 - $18 an hour
