This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Early Talent Programs based in United States.
The Director of Early Talent Programs will shape the future workforce by developing and leading global strategies for attracting, developing, and retaining emerging talent.
The role will initially focus on early-career initiatives across the United States, Mexico, and Ireland, with opportunities to expand into additional regions.
You will oversee university partnerships, internships, co-ops, and rotational leadership development programs aligned with long-term workforce needs.
Working closely with senior leaders, HR teams, academic institutions, and external partners, you will strengthen talent pipelines and employer brand visibility.
You will also create engaging experiences that support the development, mentorship, and successful conversion of high-potential early-career talent.
This position combines strategic workforce planning with hands-on program leadership, data-driven decision-making, and global stakeholder management.

- Develop and execute a global early talent strategy aligned with long-term workforce requirements, partnering with senior business leaders and HR stakeholders across regions.
- Design, scale, and manage early-career programs for undergraduate and advanced-degree candidates, including internships, co-ops, and rotational leadership programs.
- Monitor talent pipeline performance and continuously improve candidate and participant experiences from recruitment through conversion.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, colleges, professional associations, and student organizations in priority talent markets.
- Represent the organization at university events, advisory boards, recruitment summits, and other academic engagement opportunities.
- Lead campus recruiting strategies that strengthen employer brand awareness and increase engagement with targeted institutions.
- Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to develop campus campaigns, social media initiatives, digital content, and employer-brand messaging that resonates with emerging talent.
- Oversee campus events, recruitment experiences, competitions, and other engagement activities designed to attract and connect with high-potential candidates.
- Enable business leaders and HR partners to actively participate in early talent initiatives and build organizational support for program objectives.
- Establish mentorship, performance management, training, and development experiences for interns and early-career leadership participants.
- Develop and execute conversion strategies that transition high-performing interns and program participants into full-time opportunities across business units and regions.
- Use data and performance insights to evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform future early talent investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive professional experience, with strong preference for experience in global talent acquisition, university relations, early-career programs, or leadership development within a multinational organization.
- Proven experience designing, scaling, and managing early talent and leadership development programs across multiple regions.
- Strong understanding of university recruiting, campus engagement, talent pipeline development, and early-career workforce strategies.
- Experience working with HR technologies, applicant tracking systems, campus recruiting platforms, and related talent management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with universities, academic partners, professional organizations, and other external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and workforce planning capabilities, with the ability to translate organizational needs into scalable talent programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence across cultures, functions, and time zones.
- Strong program management and operational skills, with exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to evaluate program metrics and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Strong employer branding and marketing awareness, particularly in developing compelling experiences and communications for early-career audiences.
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and influence senior stakeholders without relying solely on direct authority.
- Willingness and ability to travel for campus events, university partnerships, and other global early talent activities.
- Annual compensation range of $135,500–$268,500, with placement within the range depending on experience and geographic location.
