- Build advanced calculated fields, custom reports, including matrix and composite reports, and RaaS endpoints for downstream data consumption.
- Own integration security design, including ISUs, security groups, X.509 certificates, OAuth 2.0, and API access policies following least-privilege principles.
- Lead technical design sessions, create integration design documentation, and review peer solutions to ensure quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot production integrations while managing incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term remediation.
- Partner with functional Workday teams across HCM, Payroll, Financials, and ATS to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Support Workday semi-annual release cycles by assessing impacts on integrations, Extend applications, and reports, and coordinating regression testing.
- Implement and use integration event monitoring, alerting, and log analysis capabilities to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Package and promote Workday configurations and integrations across tenants while maintaining deployment quality and consistency.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Workday integration development and engineering.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting Workday integrations across multiple integration technologies.
- Proven experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Extend, and SOAP/REST web services.
- Practical experience building custom Workday Extend applications, orchestrations, APIs, custom business objects, and UI pages.
- Experience integrating Workday with third-party and downstream systems, including payroll, benefits, ATS, financial, data warehouse, and middleware platforms.
- Strong knowledge of XSLT, XPath, Groovy, Workday Custom Reports, calculated fields, matrix and composite reports, and RaaS.
- Experience with Workday integration security, including ISUs, security groups, X.509 certificates, OAuth 2.0, and API access policies.

- Familiarity with Workday AI and automation capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities to improve integration and reporting workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities, including monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
- Ability to lead technical discussions, document integration designs, review solutions, and collaborate effectively with functional and technical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting Workday semi-annual releases and coordinating regression testing.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience and market standards.
- Opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-scale Workday integration initiatives.
- Exposure to Workday Extend, AI-driven automation, integration architecture, and modern enterprise technologies.
