This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to build and scale a sophisticated customer growth engine in a rapidly evolving energy market.
You’ll own acquisition, conversion, revenue growth, unit economics, and marketing investment across a diversified portfolio of channels.
Reporting to the CMO, you’ll influence executive-level decisions around growth strategy, resource allocation, and long-term customer value.
You’ll lead a high-performing Growth organization while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Brand, Creative, Operations, and Organic Growth teams.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across performance marketing, experimentation, digital experiences, measurement, and channel expansion.
You’ll use advanced analytics, AI, automation, and emerging growth technologies to accelerate learning and improve decision-making.

- Define and lead the customer acquisition and conversion strategy, identifying the highest-impact opportunities for sustainable customer and revenue growth.
- Own annual and quarterly growth plans, forecasts, budgets, and portfolio-level investment decisions, balancing customer volume, marginal efficiency, contribution economics, payback, and lifetime value.
- Partner with executive leadership on growth targets, media investment, resource allocation, strategic priorities, and performance recommendations.
- Build and lead a high-performing Growth organization and agency or partner ecosystem, developing channel leaders and establishing a culture of accountability, experimentation, speed, and continuous improvement.
- Own performance across online and offline acquisition channels, including paid search, paid social, display and programmatic, affiliates, CTV, OOH, direct mail, creator and influencer partnerships, and emerging channels.
- Diversify the acquisition portfolio by identifying, sizing, testing, and scaling new channels, audiences, partnerships, and distribution opportunities.
- Establish scalable testing programs across audiences, creative, messaging, offers, landing experiences, creators, channels, and customer journeys.
- Own the conversion growth roadmap across websites, landing pages, and acquisition funnels, prioritizing opportunities based on customer insights, expected impact, and speed to learning.
- Lead a rigorous experimentation program covering user experience, messaging, offers, conversion paths, and site performance.
- Partner with Product, Design/UX, Engineering, Brand, Creative, and Organic Growth to deploy, measure, and scale improvements throughout the customer journey.
- Integrate SEO, AI-powered search/GEO, and organic growth into the broader acquisition and conversion strategy.
- Define acquisition and conversion KPIs and establish the operating cadence for reviewing performance and making investment decisions.
- Leverage attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality testing, cohort analysis, LTV analysis, forecasting, and other advanced measurement approaches to guide strategy.
- Partner with Marketing Analytics to strengthen measurement frameworks, analytics infrastructure, forecasting models, dashboards, and decision-support capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve experimentation velocity, creative development, marketing effectiveness, and operating efficiency.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear growth actions, experiments, investment decisions, and executive recommendations.
- Ensure acquisition and conversion initiatives are properly instrumented, testable, and measurable, with a strong focus on true incremental and marginal returns.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, Customer Acquisition, or a closely related discipline.
- 5+ years leading teams, functions, or complex multi-channel growth portfolios.
- Proven track record of scaling customer and revenue growth through sophisticated, multi-channel acquisition strategies.
- Experience managing significant marketing investments, ideally including eight-figure annual budgets.
- Deep expertise across both digital and offline performance marketing, with demonstrated success making portfolio-level investment decisions and developing new acquisition channels.
- Strong knowledge of conversion rate optimization, experimentation, digital customer journeys, SEO, and organic growth.
- Sophisticated understanding of growth economics and measurement, including CAC, LTV, payback, contribution economics, attribution, media mix modeling, incrementality, forecasting, and media investment optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to use analytics, customer insights, AI, and automation to improve growth performance, decision quality, experimentation velocity, and operational efficiency.
- Strong executive communication and commercial judgment, with the ability to turn complex performance data into clear recommendations and business decisions.
- Proven people leadership experience, including building, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
- Strong cross-functional influence and experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Analytics/Data, Creative, Brand, Operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to think systemically across media, creative, product, conversion, measurement, and customer economics.
- Experience in energy, home electrification, clean technology, healthcare, fintech, consumer subscriptions, marketplaces, or consumer technology is a plus.
- Experience scaling both online and offline acquisition channels within the same portfolio is preferred.
- Experience building or significantly evolving a Growth function, operating model, or team is a plus.
- Experience incorporating AI and automation into growth workflows, experimentation, creative development, or decision-making is highly valued.
