This role is an exciting opportunity to drive commercial growth and market development across the reproductive and genetic health sector in India.
You will build strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, laboratories, fertility centers, hospitals, and key industry stakeholders.
The position combines scientific expertise with business development, customer engagement, and commercialization of innovative genomic solutions.
You will help expand the adoption of sequencing technologies and clinical genomics workflows across a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
Working closely with sales, marketing, medical, technical, and clinical teams, you will turn emerging opportunities into sustainable business growth.
The role offers broad exposure to strategic accounts, new applications, market intelligence, and partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem.

- Drive annual revenue, consumables, and growth targets across the assigned territory, developing and executing strategic plans to expand the adoption of reproductive and genetic health solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, fertility centers, genetic testing laboratories, and other healthcare institutions.
- Develop strong relationships with obstetricians, gynecologists, fetal medicine specialists, reproductive medicine specialists, geneticists, laboratory directors, and key opinion leaders.
- Lead demand-generation initiatives, scientific meetings, workshops, CMEs, roundtables, webinars, and educational programs to increase awareness and adoption of genomic testing.
- Drive adoption of sequencing platforms, library preparation solutions, and associated workflows, supporting customers in implementing end-to-end genomics processes from sample preparation through sequencing and analysis.
- Partner with clinical application and technical teams to support customer onboarding, workflow optimization, and successful implementation of genomic solutions.
- Lead the commercialization of new reproductive and genetic health applications, identifying emerging opportunities and developing strategies to increase testing adoption and market penetration.
- Establish strategic collaborations with healthcare institutions, laboratory networks, professional societies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform business planning, portfolio development, and commercial strategy.
- Manage strategic accounts and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Clinical Applications, Service, Technical Support, Commercial Operations, and channel partners to maximize customer success and market coverage.
- Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, CRM records, and account plans while ensuring strong execution against commercial objectives.
- Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Genomics, or a related scientific discipline; an advanced scientific or business qualification is preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in genomics, molecular diagnostics, reproductive health, clinical diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, or a closely related field.
- Proven track record in sales, business development, market development, or other commercially focused roles within healthcare or life sciences.
- Demonstrated experience engaging clinicians, healthcare providers, laboratories, service providers, healthcare institutions, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of genomics technologies, sequencing workflows, molecular diagnostics, and their clinical applications.
- Commercially astute with strong strategic-thinking and business-development capabilities, including the ability to translate scientific knowledge into tangible business opportunities.
- Excellent stakeholder-management, influencing, presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership capabilities, with the ability to work effectively across sales, marketing, medical, technical, clinical, and channel teams.
- Customer-focused and results-oriented, with the ability to operate independently, prioritize opportunities, and deliver against ambitious commercial objectives.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic healthcare and technology environment where market needs, customer requirements, and scientific innovations are continually evolving.
