Lubrication Technician

📍 Location: Graceville, FL
🕒 Shifts: 12 hr.-Day, Night (Mon-Fri) AND Weekend (Fri-Mon) Shifts
💲 Pay: Starting at $20.00+/hour, Based on Experience
💰 Shift Differential: Additional Pay for Night & Weekend Shifts

As a Lubrication Technician, you will help maintain the reliability of our high-tech manufacturing equipment while supporting our maintenance team.

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

What You'll Do

• Perform equipment lubrication according to NLGI standards and OEM specifications
• Monitor lubrication systems and identify potential equipment failures
• Request and review oil analysis when needed
• Diagnose bearing and wear-surface issues and develop corrective action plans
• Maintain gearboxes and identify leaking seals, excessive noise, heat, or other concerns
• Maintain hydraulic systems and collect/document oil samples
• Maintain automatic lubrication systems, including lines, fittings, and components
• Maintain air compressors, air dryers, oil coolers, and heat exchangers
• Maintain lubrication cabinets, tools, equipment, and supplies
• Manage filters, spare parts, and lubrication-related inventory
• Enter work orders and requisitions using maintenance software
• Work closely with Millwrights, Leads, Supervisors, and other departments
• Train others on proper lubrication practices and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely and follow LOTO procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work different shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed

Preferred

• 3+ years of experience as a Lubrication Technician
• Experience in industrial equipment maintenance
• Manufacturing experience
• Wood products or sawmill experience
• Technical or formalized maintenance training
• Knowledge of bearings, lubrication, power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience managing maintenance parts and inventory

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift.
• Lift, push, and pull heavy materials and electrical equipment safely.
• Work in hot, cold, dusty, noisy, and industrial environments.
• Work around energized equipment while following strict safety procedures.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, electrical testing devices, and lifting equipment.

• Report unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
• Use proper lifting techniques and request assistance when necessary.
• Never enter restricted areas or approach operating saws.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety policies.
