You’ll help patients navigate registration, insurance eligibility, and appointment preparation while supporting accurate billing and clean claims. Your attention to detail and compassionate service will help reduce delays, prevent registration-related issues, and keep care moving smoothly. We are seeking a Registration Specialist who wants to:

✅ Use your attention to detail to make the registration process smooth and accurate
✅ Partner with Billing and front-office teams to solve patient questions and concerns
✅ Support Premier’s mission by delivering an exceptional patient experience

What You’ll Do

▶ Complete registration for scheduled appointments and verify insurance eligibility
▶ Contact patients to obtain needed information before their appointments
▶ Process eligibility and sliding fee discount documentation
▶ Provide a smooth handoff to Billing for billing-related questions and concerns
▶ Support walk-in and same-day registrations and serve as a resource for front-office teams
▶ Answer multiple phone lines and assist patients with non-clinical questions
▶ Protect patient confidentiality and support HIPAA, quality, and patient-flow standards

Qualifications

▶ High School Diploma or GED
▶ Basic understanding of medical terminology and documentation
▶ Basic mathematical skills
▶ Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
▶ Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate empathy with diverse patients
▶ Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and annual compliance
