Mental Health Technicians (MHT) in Las Vegas, Nevada at Sunarch LLC

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable team member to provide essential care and support to individuals with mental health needs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in behavioral health who is committed to making a positive impact in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals
• Implement crisis intervention techniques to manage and de-escalate challenging behaviors
• Assist in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans
• Observe and document patient behaviors, interactions, and progress
• Administer medications as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with social workers, psychologists, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
• Use behavior management techniques to promote a safe, therapeutic environment

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred
• At least one year of experience working in a mental health or behavioral health setting is required
• Strong understanding of crisis management and behavior intervention strategies
• Experience with medical documentation and following established medication protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards at all times
