Product Manager - Money Movement in Haciendas del Canada, Nuevo León at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager – Money Movement based in Canada.

This role owns the end-to-end product experience of how money moves across payment rails and financial infrastructure.
You’ll shape on-ramps, off-ramps, pay-ins, payouts, settlement, reconciliation, liquidity, treasury, and payment operations.
A major focus will be transforming manual processes and spreadsheet-driven workflows into scalable, reliable product infrastructure.
You’ll work at the intersection of product, operations, finance, fintech infrastructure, and banking partnerships.
The role requires strong knowledge of emerging-market payment corridors and the ability to navigate different banking, regulatory, pricing, and operational constraints.
You’ll collaborate closely with infrastructure, retail product, Finance, FinOps, and external banking or payment partners.

• Own the money-movement product surface across on-ramps, off-ramps, pay-ins, payouts, payment infrastructure, settlement, reconciliation, liquidity, treasury, and transaction processing.

• Transform manual, spreadsheet-based settlement, reconciliation, liquidity, and treasury workflows into scalable, reliable product infrastructure.

• Establish and evolve the operating model for payment operations, including settlement cycles, reconciliation processes, transaction processing, exception handling, and related workflows.

• Work closely with Finance and FinOps to design operational processes that support accurate, efficient, and scalable money movement.

• Align rail and infrastructure decisions with the organization’s shared payments infrastructure and API architecture, avoiding unnecessary duplication.

• Partner with core infrastructure and retail product teams to ensure money-movement capabilities can support multiple business lines and use cases.

• Apply AI-native approaches to product development and operational workflows, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and accelerate execution.

• Assess payment corridors across emerging markets, taking into account banking restrictions, regulatory requirements, pricing structures, operational realities, and market-specific constraints.

• Determine which capabilities can be standardized across markets and which require corridor-specific solutions.

• Analyze corridor economics, including deposit fees, FX spreads, transfer fees, and other costs, to inform product and growth decisions.

• Build and manage relationships with banking partners, payment service providers, and other financial infrastructure partners.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to launch, optimize, and scale payment rails and money-movement capabilities.

• 4+ years of product management experience for Senior PM-level consideration, or 7+ years for Lead PM-level consideration.

• Demonstrated experience shipping payment rails in emerging-market or high-growth fintech environments.

• Hands-on experience with payment methods or rails such as on-ramps, off-ramps, ACH, SWIFT, wire transfers, card acquiring, or comparable payment infrastructure.

• Experience working across multiple payment service providers or banking partners simultaneously.

• Strong understanding of settlement, reconciliation, treasury, liquidity, transaction processing, and payment operations, in addition to customer-facing payment experiences.

• Ability to analyze the economics of payment corridors, including deposit costs, FX spreads, transfer fees, and the trade-offs involved in subsidizing customer adoption.

• Direct experience managing or negotiating relationships with banking partners or payment service providers rather than working exclusively through an intermediary business development function.

• Strong understanding of emerging-market banking environments, including regulatory, operational, and infrastructure differences between jurisdictions.

• Excellent product judgment and the ability to balance customer experience, operational scalability, financial performance, risk, and technical constraints.

• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively across product, engineering, infrastructure, finance, operations, and external partners.

• Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment and building processes or infrastructure from the ground up.

• Experience with stablecoin or cryptocurrency payment rails, multi-currency treasury, or emerging-market banking is a strong asset.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate across distributed teams.
