Residential Service Plumber C-36 License in Richmond, California at FAST HOME SERVICES LLC

This licensed plumber will perform residential service and installation work, serve as a Responsible Managing Employee (RME) on the company’s California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license. This position has potential opportunities for a lead role in the Bay Area market as the division expands.

• Employee will perform the following job duties. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
• Diagnose, repair, and install residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, drains, and water and gas lines, in accordance with code and company standards.
• Serve as an RME on the company’s C-36 license, exercising direct supervision and control of plumbing operations to ensure compliance with CSLB requirements and local codes.
• Obtain permits and coordinate inspections as required.
• Present clear, accurate, and professional solutions to customers, including repair and replacement options and written estimates.
• Complete jobs referred through the company’s home improvement retail partners in line with partner service standards.
• Accurately document all service activities, estimates, and customer interactions in company systems.
• Help build the Bay Area plumbing division, including training and mentoring technicians and developing field processes.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Wear company-provided uniforms and steel or composite toe work boots during the workday.

PLEASE NOTE: All applicants must be an insurable driver, meaning minimal to no motor vehicle violations within the last 3–5 years. Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license from Washington. An exception may be made for candidates holding an out-of-state license, provided they agree to obtain the correct state license within 30 days of their offer acceptance date. Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience

• Required: Active California C-36 Plumbing Contractor license in good standing with the CSLB.
• Able to serve as RME: permanent, full-time employment (at least 32 hours per week) and not currently qualifying another contractor’s license (If so, willingness to change who your qualify for).
• 4+ years of journey-level residential plumbing experience.
• California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) registration preferred, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen after a conditional offer, in accordance with applicable
• laws.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to
• customers.
• Leadership ability and interest in growing into a lead role.
• Basic computer proficiency, including mobile applications, CRM systems, and dispatch software.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in the field.
