District Manager in Tampa, Florida at Bubble Down Car Wash

Lead up to 10 express car wash sites, build the Site Managers who run them, and help take us to 30+ locations. You won’t do it alone. You’ll have dedicated HR and maintenance support in your district. The results are yours.

Bubble Down is a Tampa-based express car wash company. We built it to make car washes people’s new favorite subscription. That takes a standard higher than anywhere you’ve worked, at every site, every day.

• Winning Site Managers: You coach, train and develop them, then hold them accountable.

• The bench: You spot talent early, so new sites open with leaders who are ready.

What the job really looks like

• Territory: Greater Tampa Bay, with new sites opening in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda next year. Your district could grow to include them.
• In the field: Four days out of five, with about half a day at each site.
• Your cadence: Weekly visits to every site, weekly 1:1s with Site Managers, weekly sales calls, and daily labor review.
• Your schedule: Monday through Friday, with early starts. Car washes run weekends, holidays and all weather, so you’re reachable and on call when a site needs you. Our goal is that you never have to cover a shift. We staff with enough slack to move people between sites, but in a real emergency, you step in.
• Hands on: Your site teams and maintenance handle the day-to-day. When a site needs it, you step in, whether that’s cleaning trenches, hauling equipment, or working wet and dirty. No job is beneath the role.
• Physical: You’ll be on your feet outdoors for long stretches and move across uneven ground and equipment areas. You’ll bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• On the road: Significant local and regional travel.

You’re a fit if you have

• 5+ years leading multiple sites at once in high-volume hourly operations, such as car wash, retail, service, QSR, fitness or automotive
• A track record of improving labor, NOI, retention or customer metrics across more than one location
• Strong financial skills across labor, P&L and staffing
• Proven discipline with checklists, deadlines and follow-through. Nothing you own slips.
• The backbone to stay steady with difficult staff and customers, and to stand behind your calls

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, insurance and a clean driving record
• Must pass a background check

Pay and benefits

• Base salary: $85,000–$100,000, based on experience
• Quarterly bonus: Tied to your district’s NOI
• Total target compensation: $100,000–$130,000
• Benefits: Medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, and mileage reimbursement
• Growth: Real room to grow into broader leadership as we expand across Florida
