Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager, Developer Ecosystem in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, developer experience, and ecosystem growth, shaping how external developers, partners, and AI systems build on and extend a modern SaaS platform. You will define and evolve the developer ecosystem strategy, influencing critical decisions around APIs, integrations, partnerships, and platform extensibility. Acting as a key product leader, you will help determine when to build internally versus when to partner or enable third-party development. The role requires strong technical fluency, strategic thinking, and the ability to align cross-functional teams around a shared platform vision. You will own the success of integrations and developer-facing products, ensuring they create measurable value for both customers and the broader ecosystem. This is a high-impact opportunity in a fast-scaling environment where your decisions will directly shape long-term platform architecture and growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and drive the overall developer ecosystem strategy, including APIs, integrations, partnerships, and platform extensibility priorities.
  • Own the end-to-end integration portfolio, including first-party integrations, developer tools, and external partner solutions.
  • Establish clear frameworks for build vs. partner decisions, ensuring optimal balance between internal development and ecosystem expansion.
  • Shape and evolve the developer experience, including onboarding, documentation, APIs, and platform usability for external developers.
  • Lead strategy and execution for AI and MCP connectivity, defining how external AI systems interact with the platform.
  • Define success metrics for the ecosystem, including adoption, usage, partner-driven revenue, and developer engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with partnerships, engineering, and leadership teams to align roadmap priorities and ecosystem investments.
  • Drive execution of integration and platform initiatives from discovery through launch and ongoing optimization.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on developer platforms, APIs, or ecosystem products.
  • Proven experience building or scaling developer ecosystems, including integrations, partner platforms, or API-driven products.
  • Strong understanding of build vs. partner decision frameworks and experience applying them in real-world product strategy.
  • Technical fluency in APIs, webhook architectures, platform systems, and developer tools.
  • Experience working closely with partnerships or business development teams on co-owned roadmap execution.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate technical complexity into clear strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, early-stage platform environments and bring structure to evolving domains.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, vertical SaaS, or multi-tenant platform environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application in product development and decision-making is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $148,000 - $221,000 depending on location and experience
  • Eligibility for variable performance-based compensation
  • Equity participation in a high-growth company
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
  • Flexible unlimited vacation policy
  • Fully remote work environment with home office stipend
  • Family planning support and employee assistance programs
  • Learning and development budget and product exploration perks
  • Inclusive, diverse, and mission-driven workplace culture focused on innovation and growth
