As our Activities Director, you will be the heart and soul of our community's social life, responsible for supervising, planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of social programs to enhance the spiritual, social, physical, and mental well-being of our residents, as well as coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Activity Department. Key Duties:
- Visit new residents to understand their interests and record this information in their profiles.
- Review resident profiles and attendance forms to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
- Design and develop creative activities, including outings, trips, and special events.
- Promote and encourage resident participation in activities.
- Work with other department heads to coordinate events and programs.
- Ensure transportation is available for residents to attend activities and events.
- Assist in promoting the community and its activities.
- Oversee the development and distribution of the community newsletter.
- Prepare and review the monthly activity calendar with the Administrator.
- Maintain creative decorations and activity bulletin boards.
- Supervise spending and assist in preparing the annual budget for activities.
- Review compliments, grievances, and suggestions to continuously improve the program.
- Engage with local senior organizations to find new opportunities for our residents.
- Conduct annual surveys to assess and improve resident satisfaction.

Qualifications:
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent; preference for those with courses in therapeutic recreation and geriatrics.
- Ability to drive residents in community bus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including nights and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Requirements:Qualifications
Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent education. Preference will be given to persons who have completed courses in therapeutic recreation and geriatrics.
