This is a high-impact leadership role designed for a senior operator who can fully own both revenue growth and operational execution within a fast-scaling, remote-first services organization. You will be responsible for transforming a project-based business model into a predictable, scalable recurring revenue (MRR) engine while ensuring operational excellence across delivery, retention, and client success. Acting as a key partner to the owner, you will oversee the full commercial lifecycle—from pipeline generation and sales execution to onboarding, delivery quality, and long-term retention. The role requires strong leadership across distributed global teams, with a focus on accountability, performance metrics, and structured execution. You will design and implement the systems, processes, and cadences that enable sustainable growth and operational consistency. This is a hands-on role suited for an experienced builder who thrives in lean, high-ownership environments with direct business impact.
- Own the full revenue engine, including pipeline generation, sales execution, client onboarding, service delivery quality, and customer retention.
- Lead and manage a distributed global team across multiple time zones, ensuring clear KPIs and consistent performance accountability.
- Drive MRR growth by coordinating sales efforts, optimizing conversion rates, and personally supporting high-value deal closures when required.
- Define and enforce the recurring revenue (MRR-first) commercial model, including pricing, packaging, scope management, and engagement rules.
- Run weekly sales and operations cadences, maintain live performance scorecards, and conduct monthly business reviews with leadership.
- Improve client retention to 95%+ by strengthening onboarding processes, communication frameworks, and escalation pathways.
- Manage team capacity planning to ensure delivery quality is maintained during periods of growth and scaling.
- Build and continuously improve operational infrastructure, including SOPs, templates, workflows, and process documentation.
- Maintain financial visibility through 13-week cash flow forecasting and proactively identify business risks.
- Track, analyze, and improve core business KPIs including MRR growth, close rates, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience building and scaling a services business from early stage to $1M–$5M revenue level.
- Strong background managing both commercial growth (sales, pricing, pipeline) and operational execution (delivery, staffing, retention).
- Direct experience with recurring revenue service models such as bookkeeping, accounting, fractional CFO services, IT managed services, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated success improving client retention through structured onboarding, clearer scoping, and escalation management.
- Experience leading distributed or global teams with strong KPI-driven performance management.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance tracking.
- Prior experience working in remote-first environments and using collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, ClickUp, and Google Workspace.
- Strong ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-ownership environments with minimal structure.
- Experience working with US or UK-based clients or organizations is required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Competitive monthly compensation aligned with senior leadership responsibilities.
- Fully remote role with global team collaboration across multiple time zones.
- Opportunity to directly own and shape the transformation of a business into a scalable MRR-driven model.
- High autonomy and ownership in a lean, fast-moving environment.
- Direct reporting line to company ownership with strong strategic influence.
- Exposure to international clients and high-growth service business models.
- Opportunity to build systems, processes, and infrastructure from the ground up.
- Performance-driven culture focused on results, accountability, and measurable impact.
- Long-term growth potential based on business expansion and leadership contribution.
