This is a field-based leadership role responsible for overseeing complex construction projects across multiple sites, with assignments typically spanning several months in duration.
You will lead on-site construction teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget.
The role combines hands-on field supervision with strategic coordination, including planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
You will work closely with engineers, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain smooth project execution.
This position requires frequent travel and adaptability across diverse industrial construction environments.
It is well suited for a strong construction leader who thrives in fast-paced, multi-site project delivery settings.
- Develop and execute project-specific construction and commissioning management plans, including pre-construction planning and site mobilization preparation.
- Lead on-site construction management and commissioning teams, ensuring effective coordination of staff, subcontractors, and trade partners.
- Monitor project performance across scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality, ensuring alignment with project objectives and budgets.
- Plan construction activities by developing schedules, sequencing, phasing strategies, and short-term work lookaheads.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, while proactively resolving on-site issues, conflicts, and emergencies.
- Oversee progress reporting, documentation updates, and communication with project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized job site.
- 12+ years of construction management experience, ideally in transmission & distribution (T&D), substation, or large-scale industrial construction.
- Proven experience managing field teams, subcontractors, labor planning, and personnel selection processes.
- Strong knowledge of construction operations, project controls, scheduling, and phase-based execution planning.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex construction projects while maintaining safety, quality, and budget adherence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience managing client relationships and resolving on-site challenges.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction project management tools and processes.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required, along with strong understanding of safety and compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred (or equivalent field experience).
