Registered Nurse RN Supervisor Fulltime Day Shift GI GU Surgical

Work hours: Full-time Day Shift , 40 hours weekly 7a - 7p
Justin 4 - GI GU Surgical Unit
Justin 4 is a 36-bed surgical unit that will care for colorectal, gastrointestinal, and urology surgery patients. On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. Patients may be admitted pre- or post-operatively, with an average length of stay of approximately five days.
Department Highlights:
• Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth
• Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
• On August 10, the unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. Patients may be admitted pre- or post-operatively, with an average length of stay of approximately five days
• The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of post op patients including: complex gastro-intestinal, urology and colorectal surgeries.
• Opportunity to work on a brand-new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower
• MAGNET facility
• Level I Trauma Center

In early 2014, Texas Health Fort Worth opened a new 75,000 square foot Emergency Services Center, one of the largest in the region. - RN staffing ratio: 1:4
- PCT staffing ratio: 1:12
- Positions require 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.
