This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Benefits Administration Analyst in the United States.

This role sits at the center of complex pharmacy benefit management implementations within a fast-growing healthcare technology environment. You will act as a senior subject matter expert, leading end-to-end benefit configuration for high-impact clients and ensuring accurate, scalable deployment of benefit designs across enterprise platforms. The position combines deep technical configuration work with client-facing advisory responsibilities, requiring both precision and strategic thinking. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including client services, IT, clinical, and operations to deliver seamless implementations. In addition to leading complex builds, you will help shape best practices, improve internal processes, and mentor junior analysts. This is a high-visibility role where your expertise directly influences client success, system performance, and operational excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation of complex and strategic client benefit configurations, ensuring accurate delivery from discovery through production go-live.
  • Serve as the primary expert for benefit design configuration, including clinical rules, pricing structures, accumulators, and pharmacy network setups.
  • Conduct advanced root-cause analysis on configuration issues and implement corrective actions and process improvements to prevent recurrence.
  • Act as escalation point for complex benefit setup challenges and provide guidance to internal analysts and implementation teams.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment across client requirements, system capabilities, and operational constraints.
  • Review and validate benefit configurations completed by junior team members prior to deployment.
  • Contribute to process optimization initiatives, documentation improvements, and internal best practice development.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmacy benefit management, healthcare implementations, or plan configuration, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong expertise in PBM claims processing systems and benefit design configuration within complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with healthcare or pharmacy benefit platforms; hands-on experience with RxSense or similar systems is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end client implementations in a consultative, client-facing capacity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex configuration issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate technical details into clear business insights.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members in a technical or operational setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or related fields.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range: $75,000 – $113,000 USD
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Opportunities for career growth in a fast-scaling healthcare technology environment
  • Exposure to enterprise-level clients and complex, high-impact implementations
  • Collaborative, cross-functional work culture
  • Equal opportunity and inclusive workplace environment
  • Professional development and learning opportunities within the PBM and healthcare tech space.
