Albers Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems Engineer / Program Manager to support and execute technical programs with a strong emphasis on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and customer-facing program execution. This role blends hands-on technical systems engineering with program coordination and financial oversight, requiring an individual who can effectively bridge technical execution, customer engagement, and internal program management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in MBSE using Cameo Systems Modeler, strong organizational and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to manage technical tasking, schedules, customer interactions, and program performance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, maintain, and analyze MBSE artifacts and system models using Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Support system architecture, requirements decomposition, traceability, and technical analysis activities.
- Coordinate and guide technical execution across multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide systems engineering expertise to support customer requirements and program objectives.
- Identify technical risks and support mitigation planning.
- Coordinate technical tasking across active programs to ensure schedule and deliverable execution.
- Facilitate internal technical meetings, tasking reviews, and recurring program tag-ups.
- Manage program logistics, including coordination of travel requirements for program execution.
- Interface directly with customers through meetings, email communication, and recurring engagement to understand upcoming needs and ensure support readiness.
- Coordinate with on-site personnel and distributed team members to align execution priorities.
- Track and monitor program financial performance, including labor execution and budget status.
- Prepare and deliver monthly program status reports to customers and internal leadership.
- Communicate program health, including risks, issues, opportunities, and execution status.
- Support forecasting and resource planning to ensure successful program execution.

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of MBSE experience, including proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler.
- 2+ years of program or project management experience supporting technical programs.
- Experience coordinating technical teams and tasking in a program environment.
- Strong customer communication skills, including experience supporting customer meetings and written correspondence.
- Experience preparing program status updates, financial reporting, or risk reporting.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM discipline
- Experience with Cameo or a similar MBSE modeling software
- Must be a U.S citizen. Must possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline or other STEM related field
- 3+ years of experience in the field or related area
- Experience supporting DoW, defense, aerospace, or government programs.
- Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and requirements management.
- Experience supporting distributed teams and travel coordination for technical personnel.
- Knowledge of risk management and program execution metrics.
- Experience briefing senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Travel will be required from time to time.
