This role is focused on driving field sales performance and strengthening retail execution across assigned territories. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, improving product visibility, and ensuring consistent in-store execution of sales strategies. The position plays a key role in expanding base sales, executing promotional activities, and supporting new product launches in a competitive FMCG environment. Working closely with retailers and distributors, you will help ensure optimal shelf presence and availability of products. The role demands strong field engagement, analytical thinking, and consistent achievement of sales KPIs. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working on-ground, solving execution challenges, and contributing directly to revenue growth. You will be part of a fast-paced, performance-driven sales ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing field sales strategies and ensuring strong retail presence across your assigned territory while driving volume growth and customer engagement.
- Drive secondary sales by building strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key stakeholders across the territory
- Ensure optimal product visibility, shelf placement, and in-store merchandising standards
- Execute promotional campaigns and monitor their effectiveness at the point of sale
- Ensure availability of products through effective stock planning and coordination with supply partners
- Implement point-of-sale materials and support new product launches in the market
- Track competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Maintain accurate field reports and provide timely updates on sales performance and execution
This role requires strong field sales exposure, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a performance-driven FMCG environment with a focus on execution excellence.
- Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline
- 1–5 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG/CPG or general trade environments
- Strong understanding of sales processes, retail execution, and negotiation techniques
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently in field conditions and manage daily sales targets
