Forklift Operator in Tucker, Georgia at EAE USA Inc

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious forklift operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to transport, load, and unload materials. You will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and safe handling of goods, maintaining organization within the warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Operate Forklift Safely: Use a forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse

· Ensure Warehouse Organization: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including stacking and organizing goods in designated storage areas

· Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, crates and pallets as required, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage

· Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of protective equipment, and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards

· Inspect Equipment: Regularly inspect forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, reporting any issues to the supervisor

· Assist with General Warehouse Duties: Provide support to operational needs with manual handling tasks and other duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Experience operating a forklift or similar machinery

· Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Must reside in or around Adairsville, GA

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when handling inventory and materials.

· Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and practices to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.

· Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other team members.

Education and Experience:

· Previous experience with operating forklift and forklift certification

· High school diploma or equivalent
