Job Title: PRODUCT CONTROL WORKER/REACH LIFT

Location(s): San Marcos,At this time, we are only considering local candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Work Schedule: DAYS: Monday-Friday, 5:30AM-2PM, ROTATING WEEKENDS, SOME OVERTIME

Hours Per Week: 40+ hours; Full Time

PAY: $22.00

Job Duties:

• Build pallets by pulling cases in stacks or individually build orders per pick ticket. This will involve a constant push, pull and lift action of moving cases to organize the final order contents.
• Operate a pallet jack throughout the cooler boxes to either pick product or move product throughout the warehouse.
• Operate reach truck or forklift for racking and de-racking pallets of product up to three levels high
• Additionally, learn to operate a Zamboni to ensure proper cleaning of floors.
• Ability and willingness to learn and use handheld, tablet, eRMS, and/or WHS to produce products in real time of transfer products within the warehouse or trailers.
• Facilitate flow of pallets from palletizer machine by using either a pallet jack or forklift to retrieve the pallets to then be wrapped either by hand or shrink wrap machine.
• Load trucks within completed pallets after being picked up correctly and double checked by another member of Product Control
• Staging Orders
• Follow SQF and GMP requirements for work area and environment
• Complete audits either on bins, trailers or racks
• Follow proper documentation for any paperwork needed in the department.
• Conduct daily cleaning procedures for department as coordinated by management.
• Use proper PPE and follow all safety guidelines for the department.
• Fulfill other job duties that are asked to help Product Control and accommodate business needs.
• Ability to cover weekends when scheduled to do so Prompt and regular attendance
• Other duties as needed

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or write; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, or reach with hands and arms; may regularly bend or occasionally climb, balance or stoop. The employee may regularly push, pull; lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions and; moving mechanical parts.
