PPG Rounding RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana at Parkview Health

Summary

Responsible for rounding on patients in the hospital, documentation, review of hospital ordered labs and x-rays and communicating back with physicians status and concerns. Works with management and physicians in a collaborative manner, assuring all policies, procedures and programs are compatible with goals and objectives of line of business.

Education

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure/Certification

Active RN license and CPR required.

Experience

Experience in a physician office setting or related field. Solid knowledge base of surgical procedures. Electronic medical record experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and represent our organization in a positive manner. Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical operations, service excellence, clinical quality and education initiatives. Must be familiar with computers.
