Job Description
Kiddie Academy of Floral Park is seeking an Assistant Teacher who is passionate and experienced in caring for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a daycare or school setting. College students are welcome to apply!

Job Responsibilities:
- Establish positive relationships with children and their families.
- Ensure the physical, social, and emotional needs of each child are met daily.
- Assist teachers with supervising children during classroom activities, transitions, playtime, and daily routines.
- Support children's learning and development through games, activities, and hands-on experiences.
- Encourage positive behavior and help children develop strong social skills.
- Ensure all health, safety, and licensing policies and procedures are followed to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom that promotes learning and safety.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Complete required classroom and Academy documentation, including daily notes, attendance records, and student accident reports.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Experience working with children preferred (childcare, babysitting, camp, tutoring, etc.)
- Friendly, dependable, and patient
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare or experience working with children: 1 year (preferred)
